In order to implement the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding on Women's Affairs signed between the Government of the State of Kuwait, represented by the Ministry of Social Affairs, and the Government of the Republic of Djibouti, represented by the Ministry of Women and Family, it was stipulated in Article 5 of the Memorandum to form a joint working group consisting of three members from each country to execute the tasks specified in the text of the article.
It is well-established and affirmed that the Kuwaiti Women's Association, in accordance with its founding documents, represents the women's movement and Kuwaiti women in all domestic, Gulf, Arab, regional, and international arenas.
To further cement its role in strengthening the bonds of community partnership between civil society organizations and government entities, and to actively implement the provisions of Article 5 of the aforementioned Memorandum of Understanding, the Kuwaiti Women's Association, by joining the membership of the joint working group representing the State of Kuwait, reinforces its role and competence in representing women's associations in international and regional federations, institutions, and organizations.
